Explanation & Ingredients: Bubble Milk Tea also known as Pearl Mile Tea, which is a Taiwanese tea-based drink. It consists of a mixture of hot Taiwanese black tea, small tapioca pearls, condensed milk, and syrup or honey. This is a good choice if you feel hungry in the late afternoon.

Experiment 03 - Metering

The objective of this experiment is to explore the function of metering. For Canon 650D, there are 4 metering selections: (1) Evaluative Metering, (2) Partial Metering, (3) Spot Metering, and (4) Center-Weighted Average Metering. The metering functions allow photographer to control the subject's brightness in order to match their preferences of subject's representation.

T1_Sky คน

The objective of this assignment is to capture a particular theme - Sky and to select three best shots among the photos that have taken by photographer.

There are three best shot that have been selected from the photographer's point of view. Hopefully to receive some of commons and feedback for the future improvement.

Experiment 02 - White Balance Control

The objective of this week is to learn how to control the white balance (WB) in appropriate setting. Most of camera has set up auto white balance control. However, being a professional photographer, WB is one of function that he/she must know how to adjust in different setting. The pictures below were taken during the exercise session, which may represent good / bad setting of WB.

To summarize the White Balance (WB) function, a beginner photographer must understand the differences of WB selection. The functions of WB in Canon 650D include (1) Auto WB, (2) Daylight (Approx. 5200K), (3) Shade (Approx. 7000k), (4) Cloudy (Approx. 6000K), (5) Tungsten Light (Approx. 3200K), (6) White Fluorescent Light (Approx. 4000K), (7) Flash, and (8) Custom. Most of time, we may intend to use the Auto WB when taking picture due to it's easier to control the result of photo. However, being a professional photographer needs to know what appropriate selections of WB are in order to express the outstanding result of the object or subject.

Experiment 01 - Camera Control

The objective of this week's assignment is to be familiar on controlling of our camera in different functions with particular focusing on aperture, shutter, and lens.

The manual control function was selected with lowest aperture (F5.6). All of pictures were taken in between lens of 55 mm and 18mm.

To conclude the understanding of the depth of field and lens differences, being a beginner photographer must know how to control the setting of aperture, shutter, and lens. The appropriate adjustment of aperture allows photographer to take a decent picture with the blur background, which is the shallow depth of field in the technical term. As comparing the pictures that were taken above, we can notice that the closer pictures represent the blur background. Not only because of the close up of the object, but also the lens and aperture control that allow pictures to have the shallow depth of field. Moreover, when taken the pictures with the lowest lens of 18mm and lowest aperture F5.6, it cannot represent the better result of the shallow depth of field. Unless you close up the object, but still the representation will not be outstanding.
